I'm not sure if you can tell, but we are sitting on bottom at low tide. The tides have gotten us lower and lower. Another reason to get out of "devilville" as some call Deltaville.
I made some friends from the Clarksburg United Methodist church. They invited me to their home for one of their mission meetings. You know there was good food.
We invited our dock mates , Richard and Temple to share our Eggplant Stew that Aaron made. We enjoyed happy hour in our cozy cockpit. Richard and Temple have a57foot Hinkley katch and were able to break away from Deltaville today, Friday. We are totally jelous as we were unable to withstand the 10 to 15 knot winds on our nose. For our smaller boat that would be like riding a bucking bronco all the way to Norfolk. Tomorrow the winds are suppose to be out of the East and MAYBE we can leave.
Deltaville's own voted best dock master of the bay. He does Deltaville Marinia proud. Thanks, Ed, for your hospitality.
We would like to leave now. We promise to stop this way again. It s not just you, it's the bikes, the car, the lovely lounge and a boatyard we could work out of. Just let us see another part of the world first
