Let's Try Again

It is slightly frustrating to travel three days to break something and be stuck for four days before you can be on your way again. The great thing was is that we were able to get our part, get my contacts, relax and visit a little with friends. We actually had a movie day aboard Blue with Ladd and Denise. We had popcorn, coconut rum smoothies and watched Across The Universe. Actually, Denise and I watched the movie and the guys stayed in the cockpit.  We returned to our boat just before the nightly storm. They kick up pretty nice waves so we get rocked to sleep. (We really are awake most of the nights wondering if the bow is going under.,and hey did we tie down the generator ?)  Wednesday night a blaze kicked up in the swamps next to the Kennedy Space Center.  The strong winds whipped it into a frenzy. Not to worry the heavy rains finally put her out.

Today's Thursday and we are at it again. Everything is running well. The heat exchanger is doing its job. We have south west wind of 5-12 knots. Hoping to make Daytona before the evening storm.

Our windy exit from Blue after our movie day

The brightest red cilinder is the heat exchanger.

The smoke in the swamp when we left Quicksilver to get my contacts.

Hard to see..it's a pelican and small seagull. Fun to watch. The small seagull always lands on the pelican's head after he dives, trying to get his catch.

      Smoke clouding the bridge

The swamp on engulfed...the building on the right is Kennedy Space Center
   Crazy

On our way again ...looking closely we see a huge osprey nest with mom or dad feeding the young
